Job Description

Procurement and Supply Chain Management:
•Implement procurement processes in accordance with MAG’s Procurement Policy and Handbook.
•Collaborate with departments and suppliers to streamline procurement operations.
•Assist the Base Manager and Country Procurement and Logistics Manager in consolidating procurement plans across projects to optimize purchasing efficiency.
•Maintain the Procurement Tracker and provide regular updates on procurement activities.
•Ensure compliance with MAG policies related to safeguarding, anti-corruption, anti-bribery, anti-human trafficking, and anti-slavery.
•Support the Country Procurement and Logistics Manager in conducting spot checks to verify compliance and operational standards.
•Ensure procurement activities avoid audit observations and unallowable costs.
•Lead national tender processes and framework agreements at the Base Office level.
•Ensure that Propcurement Trackers (PR Tracker, FWA Tracker, Suppliers list, Lease Agreement Tracker, …etc) are up to date and shared with the Erbil Head Office on a monthly basis.
Logistics and Asset Management:
•Supervise the Warehouse Store Keeper in the base and ensure that inventory is continuously maintained and all movements/transfers are supported by correct documentation, in line with MAG Inventory Management policy.
•Coordinate asset movements and approvals with relevant authorities.
•Make sure to share the updated warehouse reports with Erbil Head Office and Stake Holders on a weekly basis.
•Maintain updated asset registers and ensure proper inventory management at the Base Office level
•Coordinate transport logistics between storage locations.
•Assist CPLM and Assets & Warehouse staff in spot checks and inventory management.
•Coordinate with the Adminsitration and Laisaon staff for obtaining approvals to trasnport Assets/Equipment with respective from/to the Talkif Base.
•Managing the Asset disposals in the Base while making sure to have updated records for each Asset disposed in coordination with the Erbil Head Office.



Person Specification
Essential Experience
•A Bachelors degree with good English and Arabic reading, writing and speaking skills, Kurdish Language will preferred.
•Minimum of 5 years demonstrated experience in procurement and logistics prefreablly with an INGO/UN.
•Experience in procurement, Logistic, Asset, and Warehouse Management.
•Knowledge/experience of local legislation/requirements and inter

Essential Skills and Knowledge
•Self-Organized, team player and ability to work under limited supervision.
•Supervision skills, able to motivate and control a small team.
•Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills (e.g. Word/Excel).
•Good in written and spoken English, and Arabic, Kurdish language is preferred.
•Ability to maintain clear record keeping systems to monitor supply chain and asset management.
•The ability to communicate both in person and on paper.
•Proven negotiation skills.
•Valid driving licence
