Tasks and responsibilities
- Plan the weekly schedule of movements and activities for the CWC assistants;
- Manage, supervise and guide the CWC assistants’ daily work, assuring the quality of the services provided;
- Support the planning and roll out of community mobilization initiatives, assuring their relevance and quality;
- Supervise the good and effective use of social media channels and website page(s);
- Support the CWC team to identify relevant topics for the awareness campaigns, design effective messages and select the appropriate modalities to deliver the messages;
- Assure the needed coordination with the other teams and with all the relevant stakeholders;
- Support the manager with the needed permissions and other paperwork related to the activities;
- Gather the daily and weekly data and information received by the CWC assistants and submit the required reports and data base to the manager;
- Provide regular updates to the manager and to UNHCR;
- Collect any relevant need, risk or other significant information which might affect the program and communicate timely to the manager;
- Help implement a strong Communication with Communities (CwC) information process and the design of an area-wide two-way communications system.
- Coordinate closely with local authorities, formal and informal, as well as refugee/IDP community focal points in each area, establishing and maintaining positive relationships.
- In coordination with the component team leaders, and with the support of the (CwC) staff, conduct awareness and sensitization campaigns in Camps and Urban areas for Refugees and IDPs.
- Support the AAP manager with any other task related to the project.
- bachelor degree in social sciences, law, international relationships. Different backgrounds should be compensated with relevant experience;
- at least 2 years of experience as team leader, coordinator or other management position for local or international NGOs;
- at least 2 years of experience working in protection field;
- very good knowledge of community based protection, community mobilization and accountability systems for affected population;
- good communication and reporting skills;
- good IT knowledge;
- Arabic , kurdish and English language are required
