Aid Gate Organization is seeking a Work-Based Learning (WBL) – TWG Coordinator to support the implementation of WBL activities across Dohuk, Ninewa, and Erbil. The coordinator will act as the key link between AGO, trainees, enterprises, vocational instructors, mentors, and local authorities. The role includes supporting the selection of participating enterprises, developing training and placement plans, placing trainees in suitable workplaces, orienting trainees on WBL methodology, conducting regular workplace visits, monitoring progress, resolving implementation challenges, ensuring proper documentation, and reporting regularly on achievements and challenges.
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in vocational training, education, livelihoods, or youth employment projects. Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills are required, with the ability to engage effectively with enterprises, instructors, and trainees. Fluency in Kurdish and Arabic is important, and working knowledge of English is an advantage. The ideal candidate should also have strong interpersonal and facilitation skills, sound organizational and time-management ability, commitment to youth empowerment and gender-sensitive programming, and willingness to travel frequently to field locations.
